Hewitt hurt due to broken ankle

Jennifer Love Hewitt, actress and star of Ghost Whisperer, suffered a broken ankle during one of her tapings for the said show and now the Hollywood star has been forced to wear a supportive boot and limp around the shoot.

The actress was a guest on Craig Ferguson’s US talk show and she had to be helped to get onstage and Hewitt was seen wearing a heavy duty plastic boot that can be inflated to help ease the pain and support her painful limb.

Hewitt jokingly mentions about her accident on the show that “she was chasing after a ghost and the ghost won.”

The actress is said to be taking a break for the next ten days until her sprained ankle is completely healed.
